Legal Assistant/Officer is urgently required to work in a fast growing and dynamic mcro-financing organization, New Era Finance Limited, with corporate office situated in Kingston.
Selected candidates must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be highly detailed oriented and have the ability to multitask, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, require minimal supervision, be results driven and work well on a team.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Provide legal research and consultation on a wide range of issues
- Prepare, dispatch and/or file legal documents
- Represent the company on issues within the local judicial system (travel across the island-wide)
- Write letters and make phone calls to delinquent clients
- Possess superb written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer and technology skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Bar admission and an active attorney's license
- Two (2) years experience in field
