Inventory Control Associate

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified Inventory Control Associate to join our Stores/Receiving team at Jamalco.

Under the direction of the Storeroom Administrator, this position is accountable for:

Actively managing delivery and picking exceptions report to ensure material availability to customers
Liaising with internal and external customers to ensure material availability
Identifying items that are past due and expedite
Working with Job Kit SPA and Materials Coordinators to ensure material availability for job kits
Expediting ad hoc material requests from end users and facilitating emergency acquisition of material in a timely manner
Monitoring inventory levels to ensure availability of critical material
Maintaining a working file of expedited material to aid in follow-up actions and provide timely feedback to customers

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify you must have the following:

Tertiary level education in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Business Administration, or equivalent
Good written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
