Inventory Control Associate
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified Inventory Control Associate to join our Stores/Receiving team at Jamalco.
Under the direction of the Storeroom Administrator, this position is accountable for:
- Actively managing delivery and picking exceptions report to ensure material availability to customers
- Liaising with internal and external customers to ensure material availability
- Identifying items that are past due and expedite
- Working with Job Kit SPA and Materials Coordinators to ensure material availability for job kits
- Expediting ad hoc material requests from end users and facilitating emergency acquisition of material in a timely manner
- Monitoring inventory levels to ensure availability of critical material
- Maintaining a working file of expedited material to aid in follow-up actions and provide timely feedback to customers
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify you must have the following:
- Tertiary level education in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
