Paralegal/Exec. Secretary, Admin Assistant (Kingston, Jamaica)

 The National Irrigation Commission Limited is recruiting for the following positions which are clear vacancies:

Paralegal/Executive Secretary

(Legal Unit)

Administrative Assistant

(PR Unit)

Minimum Requirements for Paralegal/Executive Secretary:

  • Associate degree in Law or Advanced Diploma in Paralegal Studies
  • A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a similar position
  • Experience dealing with land matters, conveyancing, probates, would be an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
  • Excellent writing skills and critical analysis
  • Flexibility to work outside regular working hours
Minimum Requirements for Administrative Assistant:
  • Current designation in Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or diploma in Administrative Management level 2
  • Certificate in Public Relations/Associate degree in Mass Communications or related field of study
  • A minimum of three (3) years working experience in an administrative or public relations position
  • Excellent command of the English Language and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related applications 
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of public relations principles and practices
