Cake Decorator, Cashier/Server (Pastry Passions) - Kingston, Jamaica

Cake Decorator

 Summary 

As a cake decorator, you have the opportunity to use your artistic and creative design skills to put the "icing on the cake" on our beautifully decorated cakes for our customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Decorate cakes and pastries
• Mix icing, whipping cream, and butter cream frostings
• Stock pastry display cases and fulfill special orders, including utilizing fondant and sugar paste
• Take orders from customers via telephone or face-to-face for special orders 
• Organize and clean cake decorating area

Cashier/Server

Summary

A position requiring a high degree of honesty, integrity, initiative and excellence in customer service. Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival and manage the efficient and timely service of our guests. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Order fulfillment/cashier duties
• Accommodate special requests for guests, whenever possible

Requirements:

• At least four (4) CXC subjects preferred
• Excellent work ethic and pleasant personality

Bakery Production Manager (Kingston, Jamaica) - Pastry Passions

Bakery Production Manager

1. Manage the daily requisitions received from the retail bakery outlets. 
2. Bearer co-ordination/transportation logistics

Essential Functions:

• Manage and schedule all production employees
• Manage bakery requisitions and special order fulfillment
• Oversee daily bakery production and sanitation records
• Oversee facilities and equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

• Two (2) - three (2) years production manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• Solid organization skills
• Troubleshooting skills
• Computer skills
• Knowledge of plant efficiencies and throughput
• Excellent people skills
• BSc in Operations Management preferred but not required
