Store Supervisor, Inventory Control Clerk (Oho Rios, St. Ann, Jamaica)

A highly successful service station with several subsidiaries in Ocho Rios, Drax Hall, and Kingston, is seeking to recruit professionals for the following positions at its Drax Hall, St. Ann, location:

Store Supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • First Degree in Management, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least two years' prior experience in a similar capacity in the retail sector.
  • Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge of inventory management.
  • Superior customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate and proven experience working with various Inventory management software especially QuickBooks and Peach Tree.
Inventory Control Clerk

Primary Duties:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the core responsibility of the Inventory Control Clerk is to fulfill inventory orders from the Stores Supervisor for the Boots subsidiaries, i.e., the service station, deli, pharmacy, and supermarket and to maintain a current inventory system for all the subsidiaries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • First Degree in Management, Business Administration, or the equivalent
  • At least two (2) years' experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Highly meticulous and detail oriented.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expert Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including inventory software applications.

Store Supervisors (Old Harbour, St. Catherine, JM)


A hardware company based in Old Harbour invites applications for the position of: Store Supervisors.

Job Summary

The incumbent will have the responsibility of assisting the Store Manager in the supervision of the activities that support the commercial performance of the Store.

Key Duties

  • Assists with the supervision of the activities of team leaders to ensure that store is running efficiently and profitably
  • Ensures merchandising and visual presentation standards are optimal
  • Ensures safety policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Supports the planning, organizing, management of general work procedures to ensure smooth flow of work

Essential Skills:
  • At least an associate degree in Business Studies or other relevant areas of study
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet needs of the business
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of people and communicate with them effectively
