Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of supplier invoices and payments.
• Prepare and manage manual check payments.
• Upload invoices to our banking platform.
• Record financial transactions in our accounting software (Sage).
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in data entry and accounting software (Sage experience is a plus).

Treasurer (Kingston, Jamaica) - Tyre Warehouse

 

Cash flow management and financial reporting.

Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Treasurer will play a critical role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring efficient cash flow management, accurate financial reporting, and building strong relationships with bankers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cashflow forecasting, foreign exchange (forex) transactions, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Cash Flow Management:
• Develop and maintain accurate rolling cashflow forecasts to inform management’s decision making.
• Monitor daily cash balances and ensure adequate liquidity to meet the company’s operational needs.
• Bank and Supplier accounts:
• Manage bank accounts, ensuring that they are properly reconciled and allocated to meet the company's financial needs.
• Process payments to trade-suppliers and other third parties, ensuring that they are accurate and timely.
• Proactively manage supplier relationships, ensuring regular communication and resolution of issues.
• Prepare regular bank and supplier account reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting:
• Work closely with the CFO to analyze and report on ad-hoc financial data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist with preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, along with associated notes and commentaries.
• Team Management:
• Supervise and mentor direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a treasury or finance role, preferably in the distribution or manufacturing industry.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP) is a plus.

Warehouse Assistant (Montego Bay, Jamaica) - Tyre Warehouse

Assist Warehouse Manager with receival and delivery of goods. Clean and maintain restrooms and premises

Duties include:

• Providing assistance to Warehouse Manager.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked in designated areas in warehouse.
• Store items in a safe, orderly and accessible manner in warehouse or other areas.
• Examine and inspect stock items for defects reporting any damage to WM.
• Receive and count stock items under guidance from the WM
• Retrieve items from warehouse in order to facilitate accurate and timely deliveries of stock items under guidance from WM
• Clean and maintain equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.


• Assist in determining proper storage methods, identification, and stock location, based on turnover, physical capabilities of facilities, and other factors.
• Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
• Water and care for lawns, trees, or plants where applicable.
• Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, or other grounds features
• Clean office, sales, customer service, customer waiting and sitting areas as frequently as is required to maintain these areas in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Clean and maintain bathrooms (staff and customers’ bathrooms) to ensure these areas are kept in a sanitary and safe manner at all times and ensure supplies are replenished accordingly.
• Gather and dispose in the appropriate manner all litter, garbage, trash and waste materials from within the premises and the immediate areas outside on the perimeter fence/walls, that is, sidewalks and waterways.

Maintenance Technician (Spanish Town, Jamaica) - Tyre Warehouse

• Maintenance Technician

We are seeking to find a suitable candidate for the position of Maintenance Technician.

The Maintenance Technician will carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on the following types of equipment (this list is by no means exhaustive):

•  Hydraulic Lifts
• Hydraulic Jacks
• Air Compressors
• Tyre Changers, including that for track and O.T.R. Tyres.
• Wheel balancers, including high speed balancers.
• Air-Powered hand tools.
• Nitro fill Nitrogen Tyre Inflation System.

Qualifications and Pre-Requisites:

• Heart/N.S.T.A. Trust or equivalent Level 3/Diploma in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance or Industrial Electrical Maintenance.
• At least three (3) years' post-apprenticeship in a commercial and/or industrial setting.

Salary: $ 200,000.00 gross monthly
