Restaurants of Jamaica Limited, operators of the KFC and Pizza Hut Brands, are seeking to recruit suitable persons as Restaurant Managers. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of a successful restaurant and is expected to develop and empower team members to perform optimum while delivering professional customer service in a harmonious environment. The preferred candidates should satisfy the requirements below:

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and optimum performance of staff and systems.
  • Maintain a customer focused restaurant, ensuring that the quality service and delivery are in keeping with the company's high standards.
  •  Ensure that the Restaurant upholds the required quality assurance and food safety standards of the company.
  • Effectively communication and maintaining the company's culture and required standards through coaching and motivational exercises towards building a cohesive team environment.
  • Ensure that the restaurant adheres to the respective occupational health and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate effective people management skills to ensure resolution of problems in a timely manner, while exercising tact and confidentiality.
  • Ensure the profitability and optimum operation of the restaurant through proper planning, cost management/cost control and sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Preparation and submission of reports to meet deadlines or as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work on weekends and public holidays as required.

Qualification and Experience
  • Either a Tertiary Level accreditation in Business Management, Food and Beverage Management or Hospitality Management with a minimum of two (2) years' management experience.
  • A Secondary Level accreditation with four to five (4-5) years' experience managing a business, preferably restaurant or retail operations.
  • Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • A valid Food Handler's permit is required.

Chief Financial Officer

Xsomo International Limited, an industry leader in the manufacturing sector, and an organization committed to delivering relevant printing and technology solutions to our clients, is seeking to identify a Chief Financial Officer. The CFO, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, will have oversight and responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, compliance, and institutional financing.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Work with the CEO on the strategic vision of the company, including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensures management accounts are accurately prepared in a timely manner, using generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Oversee the operations of the Accounting department and staff growth and development.
  • Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information, to the CEO and the senior management team and assist in the making of recommendations on both strategy and operations.

Education and Experience:
  • Chartered Accountant with a minimum of ten (10) years' experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations would be preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with SAGE300 would be an asset
  • Sound knowledge of Company Law, GCT and Income Tax Regulations and Accounting Standards.
