Duties:

• Cutting and preparing frozen items to specifications
• Placing meat in designated storage areas after cutting
• Sorting uncut meat and meat scraps before performing daily tasks
• Preparing the Storage Area for cut meat
• Cleaning equipment and work area as per health and safety standards

Qualifications (must haves): 

• Diploma and/or Meat Cutter Certification
• Basic literacy and computation skills

Experience: 

• Two (2) to five (5) years food processing/butchering experience would be an asset
• Two (2) to three (3) years meat cutting experience using Bandsaw

Skills required:

• Customer service oriented and courteous
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work well in teams
• Being attentive to tasks to avoid injury and waste of product

Duties:

• Neatly organizing meat products in designated storage areas
• Preparing and packaging meat cuts according to production deadlines

• Performing record keeping duties
