We are seeking to recruit an Attorney-At-Law with experience in land law including conveyancing, family law, estate planning, personal injury, commercial contracts and civil litigation. Additionally, the candidate must have prior experience in:

  • Providing legal advice and solutions to clients based on the local laws, legal precedents,court procedures and practice direction guidelines;
  • Conducting legal research, gathering evidence and investigating activities for the client's case.
  • Representing clients in court proceedings for trials, arbitrations, hearing and mediations.
  • Preparing pleadings, notices and making appearances in court;
  • Drafting, reviewing and managing court documents. contracts, deeds and other legal documents;
  • Negotiating settlements;
  • Managing and overseeing paralegals and legal assistants.

Qualifications Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Law Degree
  • Certificate in Legal Education
  • Minimum eight (8) years' experience

Responsibilities:

  • Collections, and payables reconciliation and accounting.
  • Quickbooks experience, Excel and Spreadsheet experience are assets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
