Merchandiser (Islandwide, Jamaica) - Wisynco

MERCHANDISER (ISLANDWIDE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure products are visually appealing and presented according to the Planogram, while also creating and maintaining display materials
- Merchandise stores are needed, checking that adequate products are regularly available for customers
- Liaises with retailers in identifying the best floor and shelf displays and seeks to improve on space at all times
- Ensure timely removal of damaged and expired goods from shelves and organize products according to consumer age
- Use initiative to rotate products using the Last In First Out (LIFO) or the First In Frist Out (FIFO) methods
- Achieve strong visual impact within all key areas through the installation of Point of Purchase materials
- Report out of stock items to Merchandising Supervisor, Regional Sales Manager and Sales Representatives
- Ensure that the company's products are priced correctly for regular and promotional purposes, giving special attention to In-Store promotions
- Perform a routine check for new competitive product lines and relay information to Supervisor
- Minimum of three (3) CSEC passes including English A and Mathematics or Principles of Accounts
- One (1) year experience in the Merchandising field/Retail would be an asset
- People oriented and results driven with excellent interpersonal skills
- Good planning, organization and time management skills
- Ability to communicate respectfully and effectively both in written and verbal formats
- Solid and effective selling and negotiating techniques
- Strong time management abilities, including planning organizing and prioritizing workload
- Must have a clear understanding of how the role of merchandising supports ales
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Must have a valid food handler's permit
- Able to lift weights up to 60 lbs

Cashier (Trelawny, Jamaica) - Wisnyco Group
Jamaica's leading manufacturer of Food and Beverages seeks to hire a Cashier for our Hague location.The Cashier has the responsibility for the cash management process that is, the collection, reconciliation updating and posting of payments to the system. The incumbent is further responsible for posting payments received from walk-in customers to their accounts and the disbursement of petty cash on behalf of WGL
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Reconcile payments in High Jump with related End of Day documents
- Escalate discrepancies identified to appropriate personnel’s for action
- Prepare daily haulage report
- Prepare daily lodgements and receipts
- Post and update all customers’ accounts in IFM
- Collect and apply payments to the accounts of walk-in customers
- Provide the Credit Department with an email notification for all payments collected from walk in customers
- Send an email to the CEO and Finance Executives of lodgment figures
- Calculate customer cash discounts, pickup discounts and GCT for accurate payment application
- Issue and maintain an accurate log of Sales Representative’s credit support documents
- Do a routine clearing of the drop boxes
- Safe keep the petty cash fund, disburse payments and request additional cash to replenish the float
- Perform clerical duties to include the filing of documents for easy retrieval when requested
- Any other duty assigned within the scope of the job
- Minimum five (5) CSEC passes including English A and Mathematics/Principles of Accounts with at least one (1) year experience working
- Good communication skills – both in written and verbal formats with the ability to communicate with varying levels of staff

Packaging Technician (St. Catherine, Jamaica) - Wisynco Group
The Packaging Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely in keeping with preset standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fully accountable for the efficient operation of the labeler, case packer, and palletizer to include routine maintenance of said equipment
- Conduct maintenance activities on production machines and equipment at a sufficiently high level to ensure that agreed minimum machine efficiency standards are maintained
- Operate the assigned machine at a steady speed to achieve optimum line efficiency and quality ratings
- Change over and setup machine based on product size and store change parts correctly
- Maintain precise logs for quality checks, downtime reports, critical control points (CCPs), and operating conditions
- Diagnose, dismantle, repair and reassemble complex equipment failures
- Maintain a Safe and Healthy Work Environment to include sanitation as required
- Operate with a view to meet ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 18000 and FSSC 22000 standards, regulatory requirements, and any other third party management systems
- Attend trainings and meetings scheduled by the Company

Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Certificate from a recognized tertiary institution such as NTEI with at least two (2) years similar experience
- Technical background with experience in Industrial Maintenance

Description:The Customer Service Representative has responsibility for providing product/services information and resolving any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage incoming calls and customer service inquiries
- Manage incoming emails to ensure timely and accurate response, escalating to Customer Experience Supervisor/Manager where necessary

Credit Officer (St. Catherine, Jamaica) - Wisynco Group

The Credit Officer will be responsible for processing and validating credit notes while also supervising team members in the absence of supervisor.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and approve customer orders that are consistent with approved trading terms for each account
- Circulate daily Held Order Summary reports to sales and credit teams
- Conduct reconciliation of customer accounts in the assigned sales region(s)
- Reconcile payment submission by reviewing and updating SharePoint, prior to cashiers’ posting
- Communicate with Sales Representatives and customers regarding skipped invoices, short payments, and other discrepancies to ensure that all transactions are cleared in full
- Continuous execution of the collection matrix
- Prepare overdue letters to delinquent accounts
- Prepare weekly / monthly reports (interim statements, trial balance etc.)
- Conduct mandated audits (route audits, receipt book audit)
- Execute month-end close and distribution of E-statements
- Daily application of credits and unallocated payments to the related invoice
- Make recommendations to review credit terms and limits based on non-compliance with existing trading terms
- Manage all aspects of credit and collections for assigned sales region
- Expedite order review and release qualified held orders
- Conduct risk management analyses using sound judgment while also being required to manage the accounts receivables portfolio

- Tertiary Level Qualifications with at least two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity
