Healthcare Associates perform the following duties:

  • Ascertains the nature of the transaction/call and assesses whether it can be handled in place, needs to be transferred, or further follow-up is required, in order to provide client with appropriate resolution.
  • Identifies customer needs by referring to past transactions/case notes, analyzing case by case as needed.
  • Executes routine inbound and outbound call center activities concerning the business products/services, using alternatives as per standard scripts and established guidelines and under supervision, in order to meet SLAs.
  • Provides customer with appropriate customized information requested.
  • Derives all necessary information from customer to update database.
  • Escalates issues to senior levels as needed, based on reports on complaints or concerns, explaining company policies to customers

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/experience:

  • Proof of qualifications: Minimum secondary school leaving certificate or HEART level 2 certificate or 3 CXC subjects including English Language.
  • Birth Certificate 
  • Valid ID, NIS and TRN
  • Six (6) months to a (1) year experience in the BPO industry (Healthcare sector is a plus)
  • MUST be able to work onsite at our Portmore location
  • Basic computer literacy and internet knowledge; the ability to type 20 wpm or more.
  • Flexibility to work any 5 days of the week including weekends and public holidays 
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills; verbal  & written
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong attention to details

 Job Description

The Associate will be responsible for handling in-bound telephone calls from travel partners and/or direct guests requiring information about products, services, pricing and company website assistance.

 Responsibilities

  • Assists travel partners and/or guests with navigating the company’s website.
  • Enters required information into company systems and maintains an accurate history of each reservation and any associated transactions.
  • Services existing bookings including making changes to reservations, accepting and recording payments and assisting travel partners with arranging guest preferences.
  • Researches and provides information in order to accommodate guests’ special needs.
  • Complies with established industry and company protocols and procedures.
  • Attends training classes, completes required on-line training courses and satisfies completion standards.
  • May be assigned to special projects and may serve on employee committees.
  • Performs other duties as required. 

 Requirements:

  • Three (3) or more CXCS including English Language /High School Leaving certificate /Heart Level II certificate.
  • Must be able to work between 6:00 am to 12:00 am including weekends and holidays
  • Must have an internet speed of 10 MBPS download and 5 MBPS upload
  • Prior sales experience would be an asset

Job Description

The Associate will be responsible for handling in-bound telephone calls from travel partners and/or direct guests requiring information about products, services, pricing and company website assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Assists travel partners and/or guests with navigating the company’s website.
  • Enters required information into company systems and maintains an accurate history of each reservation and any associated transactions.
  • Services existing bookings including making changes to reservations, accepting and recording payments and assisting travel partners with arranging guest preferences.
  • Researches and provides information in order to accommodate guests’ special needs.
  • Complies with established industry and company protocols and procedures.
  • Attends training classes, completes required on-line training courses and satisfies completion standards.
  • May be assigned to special projects and may serve on employee committees.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Three (3) or more CXCs including English Language /High School Leaving certificate /Heart Level II certificate.
  • Must be able to work between 6:00 am to 12:00 am including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to accurately perform data entry of both text and numeric information at a rate of at least 25 wpm from both spoken and printed sources.
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail skills
  • One (1) year experience working in a Call Center environment would be preferred.

Purpose:

General Scope:

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs one or more of the following:
  • Monitors delinquent accounts and implements collections procedures.
  • Sends follow-up letters and accepts payment for certain accounts.
  • Perform tasks and ensures quality in support of post-sale customer administration business initiatives.
  • Input information through data screens to accurately reflect account activity and resolve account discrepancies and balances.
  • Re-bills companies or individual when appropriate.
  • Responds to inquiries from customers or external collection resources.
  • Obtains required information from credit organizations, banks and loan associations for new customer applications and/or delinquent accounts.
  • Maintains databases by entering, updating and retrieving data as well as formatting and generating reports.
  • Evaluates new and existing customer creditworthiness; extends and/or revokes credit lines/limits.
  • Receives/places calls or send letters to customers to resolve billing and invoices issues on delinquent accounts.
  • Reviews and makes recommendations regarding bad debts or write-offs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external credit agencies.
  • Collect coins and currency from parking meters and toll pay stations
  • All other duties assigned.
