Assistant Trade Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a dynamic Trade Marketing Manager to join our Commercial Marketing team. This role focuses on executing, supervising, and optimizing trade marketing programs with a strong focus on achieving secondary sales objectives across retail, wholesale, and food service channels.


The Trade Marketing Manager will be instrumental in pitching, launching, and managing trade campaigns, delivering compelling brand experiences to our customers and consumers. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Marketing Manager, Brand Team, Sales, Customer Care, and Business Intelligence Unit to ensure alignment and impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Execute and measure trade marketing programs to drive sales growth and product visibility.
  • Customer & Business Growth: Strengthen relationships with select customers across retail, wholesale, and food service while supporting business growth strategies.
  • Campaign Development: Pitch, develop, and execute trade campaigns that enhance customer engagement and drive ROI.
  • Commercial Planning: Develop customer-specific commercial plans, track entitlements, and ensure commitments are met.
  • Retail & Food Service Engagement: Build channel portfolios, design planograms, and create sales kits and trade messaging to support customer engagement.
  • Brand Activations: Lead trade marketing execution at major events such as ensuring consistent trade presence and customer alignment.
  • New Product Development: Collaborate with Production and Marketing to design packaging, create trade promotions, and launch new products.

Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in trade marketing, sales, merchandising, or a related leadership role.

The Livestock Attendant is responsible for the day-to-day routine animal care and general farm tasks to ensure the well-being of the animals.

Main Responsibility:

  • Daily animal husbandry tasks
  • Work as a team player by accomplishing daily department work requirements and farm goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely production information and records as required.
  • Assist in moving animals and maintaining efficient animal flows.
  • Treat sick animals with a variety of pharmaceuticals by injection, oral application, and/or other methods as required.
  • Assist with maintaining barn, including sanitizing and washing multiple areas on the farm using high pressure equipment, as well as office cleanliness and laundry duties.
  • Flexibility with a willingness to change plans according to the direction of farm leadership.
  • Adhere to the Company’s animal care policies and procedures including: providing a physical environment that meets the animal’s needs, providing access to adequate water and high quality feed, providing humane treatment of the animals, providing identification and appropriate treatment of animals in need of health care and following the guidelines for euthanasia.

    • The Company’s Safety Program, understanding all safety requirements of the job and performing the job in compliance with those safety requirements.
    • The Company’s bio-security protocols
    • Acceptable monitoring of cobwebs, pests & insects, and complete required documents to aid in any form of traceability exercise and report generation.

  • Diploma in Agriculture (major animal science)
  • At least two (2) years’ working experience in animal production.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
