Legal Officer (Kingston, Jamaica)

 


A legal officer is urgently required to work in a fast growing and dynamic micro-finance organization with corporate office situated in Kingston.

The selected candidate must have a strong administrative/organizational and interpersonal skills, being highly detailed oriented and the ability to multi-task, handle a fast-paced environment, require minimal supervision, be results focused working within a team.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Provide legal research and consultation on a wide range of issues
  • Prepare, file, serve/dispatch legal documents
  • Undertake foreclosure and conveyancing matters
  • Represent the company on issues within the local judicial system
  • Travel extensively across the island
  • Be extensively involved in the debt recovery effort of the company to include commencing recovery of debt proceedings in court as well as having direct communication with clients via letters, phone calls, etc
  • Possess superb written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer and technology skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
  • Legal Education Certificate
  • Legal Bar admission with an active attorney's license
  • Two (2) years experience

Cinema Managers

Suitable applicants should have:

  • Managerial Training and/or experience.
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Experience in managing and supervising others.
  • Good communication and human relations skills.
  • Sound accounting experience.
The candidates best suited to the position must be proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office and Excel in particular), willing to work late nights, weekends, and Public Holidays and own a reliable motor car.

Projectionists (Corporate area/Montego Bay)
 
Suitable applicants should have:
  • Be able to communicate courteously and clearly
  • Be able to work under pressure and display initiative
  • Be able to work late nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Possess a TRM and NIS number
  • Possess an active commercial bank account
  • Certification and/or experience in Microsoft Office particularly Excel

Area Manager (Kingston & St. Ann, Jamaica) - Restaurants of Jamaica Limited

 Restaurants of Jamaica Limited (ROJ), Operators of KFC and Pizza Hut brands, is seeking the services of a highly driven business minded and team oriented professional to join its operations management team in the capacity of Area Manager, for the St. Ann and Kingston regions.

The Area Managers work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and Restaurant Managers to ensure the long term success of all restaurants.

  • Experience managing multiple sites, availability to travel across the island, and willingness to work flexible hours
