The position requires the incumbent to display high interpersonal skills, creativity an provide strong clerical support to members of JAID's administration and project staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Five (5) CXC subjects (English Language and a numeric subject
  • One (1) year of experience in a Business environment
  • Training in customer service
  • Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office Suite applications

Forklift Operator (Kingston, Jamaica) - Cal's Manufacturing Limited

We are a leading food manufacturing company in Kingston seeking to identify a competent, certified forklift operator to join our team. 

Main Duties included:

  • Operate forklift and other equipment to pack, load and off-load goods/items
  • Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods from one location to another
  • Ensure the appropriate documentation for the transfer of goods from one location to another
  • Adhere to quality, food and health & safety procedures
  • Identify and report defects in products/equipment
  • Work harmoniously with other departments and other support teams
  • Operate within standard regulatory guidelines and company policies

  • High School diploma or certificate
  • Forklift operating certification
  • Two (2) years of forklift operating experience
