Legal Officer 

The ideal candidate will be a practicing attorney-at-law with a minimum of three (3) years experience with:

  • Excellent negotiation, meditation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of Jamaican Laws including laws relevant to the insurance industry
  • Knowledge of economic and social trends pertinent to insurance claims
  • Sound working knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedures

Job Purpose 

Under the direction of the Manager, Administrator & Office Services, the incumbent is responsible for providing janitorial, messenger and other auxiliary services in order to facilitate the proper maintenance of the office environs, the smooth flow of correspondence, internally and externally, as well as to ensure effective services at meetings.

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of secondary school standard education
  • Ability to read and write
