Main Purpose of Job:

The Brand Ambassador reports directly to the Marketing Manager. This role entails the Brand Ambassadors use of various marketing strategies namely Direct Marketing and Word-of- Mouth for relationship and brand building purposes. This role aims to maintain consistent presence in the retail space, to inform, educate, promote, build relationships, and ultimately increase sales of CPJ related products. Additionally, ambassadors operate as another set of eyes and ears on the ground. This allows the marketing team more flexibility as they get timely feedback on competitive activities not limited to promotions and pricing.

Worthy Park Estate Limited seeks a Brand Ambassador to champion the expansion and development of their spirit brands across Jamaica's trade and entertainment spaces that drive consumption and brand awareness, while developing brand image and advocacy.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and foster meaningful relationships within the local off-premise and on-premise trade and entertainment scene, while connecting with key influencers and stakeholders
• Campaign for the trial, awareness, and advocacy of our brands resulting in overall increased brand consumption
• Promote premium brand image through brand presentation and presentation of self
• Seek out, negotiate and lead execution of experiential marketing activities among client base
• Create demand for Worthy Park spirit brands through innovative and unique promotional offers

Required Skills and Specialized Techniques:

• Post-secondary education/training, preferably in Marketing
• At least two (2) years experience in sales/marketing
• Relationship building, networking, negotiation, sales, communication, analytical and organizing skills

Candidate must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle.

Job Summary

The selected candidate will be required to participate in promotional events for specific brands, and thereafter generate detailed reports of each event.

Required Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:

• Self-motivated, vibrant and customer service oriented
• Must be creative and have the ability to use initiative
• Flexible to work outside of normal working hours and on multiple promotional events
• Ability to work within a dynamic team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to prepare short reports
• High school graduate with minimum of four (4) CXC passes including English Language
• Experience in the field would be an asset
