Accounting Officer
Responsibilities
- Processing transactions and updating ledgers
- Reviewing and maintaining financial records.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and tax laws.
- Evaluating internal management systems, procedures and risks, and make recommendations.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Assist with audits and resolve discrepancies.
Requirements
- First Degree in Accounting or equivalent, with at least two (2) years' experience.
- Knowledge and competency in accounting and tax principles.
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, critical thinking and investigative skills.
- Professionalism, dependability, confidentiality, integrity and trustworthiness, combined with a cooperative attitude.
- Exceptional time management and communications skills.
