We are seeking to add to our talented team of Coastal Engineering with 5+ year experience in Numerical Modelling.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Five plus (5+) years of experience working in the numerical modelling in coastal and estuarine zone
- Minimum Master's degree in coastal/civil engineering, Coastal Sciences or related field
- Sound understanding of Coastal Processes and Coastal Ecosystems
- Experience in various modelling tools such as X-Beach, Mike Model suites (SM, SW, HD. ST, MD, Litpack, Mike Hydro), Delft 3D (Flow, Waves, Sediment Transport)
- Very good knowledge in scripting languages (Python, Matlab, etc)
- Experience in numerical model calibration and good analytical skill
- Experience in oceanographic data collection
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good report writing and presentation skills
- Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus
- Willing to travel within the Caribbean
- Publication is a plus
