We are a fast moving medium-sized distribution and processing Company seeking to identify a suitably qualified individual for the position Warehouse Supervisor for our Clarendon location:
Key Functions:
- Monitor quality and condition of items in the warehouse.
- Ensures the warehouse premises are clean and neat.
- Perform physical verification of inventory.
- Maintain, manage, and update inventory controls.
- Manage loading and unloading operations.
- Implement safety procedures and standards in the warehouse.
- Design and implement best practices in warehouse operations
- Perform a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the established storage plan.
- Facilitate the movement of materials to and from other/satellite storage locations.
Minimum Requirement and Competencies:
- At least two (2) years' experience in warehouse/distribution/processing operations.
- Certification in Warehousing or Inventory Management or Supply Chain and Logistics management, or equivalent, is an asset.
- High degree of integrity and high level of initiative.
- Be flexible to work on either day or night shifts.
