The Public Garden Division and Zoo Branch, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries & Mining, is inviting suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions:

Tour Guides, Assistant Accountant (Kingston, Jamaica)

 We are seeking suitable qualified applicants to fill the position of:

Assistant Accountant

Qualifications

• Education Minimum - ACCA level 1 or BSc. Degree in Accounting.
• Experience - At least two (2) years' in a similar position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reconciling the accounts receivable and accounts payable sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
• Preparing the weekly bill payment schedule.
• Checking and posting of daily lodgements/deposits.
• Reviewing bank statements and posting bank charges.
• Reconciling inter-company accounts.
• Processing payroll
• Bank reconciliation
• Any other related duties may be assigned.
