Sanitation Coordinator (Lucea, Hanover) - CB Group

Sanitation Coordinator

The incumbent will be responsible to manage and coordinate the sanitation of the facility grounds, production machinery & equipment, buildings, and all apparatuses therein. Ensure that all documentations are persistently and accurately generated to Support the certification and audit programs (SQL, HACCP, ISO GMP, etc.) Ensure inventory and supplies are procured to continuously and effective outfit personnel and carry-out duties of the team.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Collaborate with Management team and direct reports to resolve sanitation related challenges, complaints and grievances.
• Motivate the team and increase morale.
• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the sanitation of both inside and outside of Premises.
• Monitor, assess, report on employee performance.
• Monitor contract periods of sanitation staff.
• Ensure that sanitation activities are scheduled and carried out in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate work procedures and safety procedures to new team members or assign new members to experienced workers for training.
• Monitor on the job training in collaboration with People & Culture department.
• Enforce disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Maintain documentation as per quality standards for the Sanitation operating procedures.
• Participate in audits as required.
• Participate in QMS meetings.

Key Deliverables:

• Minimum accidents.
• Acceptable range for sanitation evaluation results.
• Acceptable range for lab finding on microbial checks.
• Low absenteeism of team.
• Food safety and security compliance.
• On the job training schedule is maintained.
• Performance evaluations are completed at least six months before workers are scheduled to go on break.

Cashier (Hanover, Jamaica) - Hanover Municipal Corporation

 Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant post of Cashier (FMG/CS 1), in the service of the Hanover Municipal Corporation.

Salary range: $645,559 0 $767,367 per annum and any allowance(2) attached to the post.

Core Responsibilities:

• Issuing of cheques prepared for payments
• Preparing and issuing receipts for cash and cheques, ensuring that the amounts received are correct and receipt is properly drawn
• Lodging amounts received promptly to the relevant bank accounts
• Preparing and making lodgements for the Hanover Municipal Corporation
• Posting receipts to EPICOR system
• Carrying out any other duties directed by the Director of Finance and other senior managers

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of four (4) CXC/GCE O' level subjects inclusive of Mathematics or Accounts
• Certificate in Government Accounting (Module 1) would be an asset
• Certification in Accounting from a post-secondary institution
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in general accounting

Maintenance Technician (Hanover, Jamaica) - Caribbean Broilers (CB Chicken)

Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, pre-operational checks and repairs in order to maintain a safe and efficient Plant.

The Maintenance Technician will primarily be responsible for:

• Monitoring and maintaining all plant systems as assigned
• Performing a wide variety of maintenance-related repairs and services (refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, welding and plumbing)
• Completing pre-operational checks and scheduling tasks prior to the start of the daily production
• Performing and documenting corrective and preventative maintenance on key support equipment
• Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining various facility components which may include, but are not limited to, HVAC, air compressors, refrigeration and boiler systems
• Alerting the Maintenance Foremen on duty of any unusual occurrences and/or damage that has taken place or that may occur
• Ensuring that Maintenance Foremen are kept informed of all corrective and preventative maintenance activities
• Responding to 24-hour emergency maintenance requests

In order to perform these duties to the highest level the ideal candidate will possess:

• At least three (3) years’ experience in Maintenance or a related field
• Post-secondary education and/or a Technical Trade Certificate/Diploma in the electrical, mechanical, welding or plumbing fields
