1. Projectionists - All cinemas
2. Concession Agents - All cinemas
3. Clerical Assistants - All Cinemas
4. Box Office Cashiers - All cinemas

All successful applicants must:

• Be able to communicate courteously and clearly
• GCE or CXC passes in English Language and Mathematics or Accounts
• Be computer literate, particularly Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Be able to work under pressure and display initiative
• Be able to work late nights, weekends and public holidays
• Possess a valid food handler's permit
• Be able to work at short notice

In addition to a qualification in English Language, the Projectionist must have excellent vision and hearing and be technically inclined, preferably with some basic training.

Job Description

Reports to: Cinema Manager

Liaises with: Store Person

Objective:

To provide fast, efficient, accurate and courteous service in a clean environment, consequently, achieving high levels of sales and patron satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure good customer service

• Ensure that stock items do not run out during a performance

• Ensure that showcase is clean and attractively set out

• Ensure working area are kept clean

• Ensure all machines/equipment are cleaned daily

• Ensure food handlers permit is valid

• Participate in daily and monthly stocktaking

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for all assigned stock items

• Ensure accuracy of all sales transactions

• Relieve in Box Office as required (see relevant job description)

• Ensure possession of adequate change at all times

• Any other duties that may be assigned by the manager

• May involve Unusual Working Hours and a requirment to work weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications:

• A recognized qualification in Mathematics and English

• A valid food handler’s permit

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Good inter-personal skills

• Ability to speak clearly

• Ability to work under pressure and display initiative

• Good dress and deportment

• A proven high standard of punctuality and attendance

EXPERIENCE

• previous experience in sales and customer service/
