Cashier (Kingston & St. Ann, Jamaica) - Total Tools

 The cashier is the key point of contact in the customer's shopping experience. The ideal candidate must display excellent customer service, have very strong communication skills, and the ability to execute monetary transactions with precision, accuracy and speed. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Five (5) CXCs including Mathematics, English (Accounts is a plus)

Or

• HEART Trust Level 2 certificate in Accounting, Business Administration or Customer Service
• At least two (2) years experience in a similar role

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Process customer sales invoices 
• Collect and apply deposit service invoices 
• Close out completed work orders by generating final invoices
• Collect and apply payments to customer rental accounts
• Prepare and issue authorized customer deposits
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic Math skills for handling transactions

Data Entry Clerk (Ocho Rios, St. Ann) - Total Tools

 The ideal candidate will be entering information into our inventory and accounting software. This person must be computer savvy, types at least 40 wpm and has a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Enter data into the inventory and accounting software from paper files
• Create accounting spreadsheets in excel accurately 
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Sort and file physical records once they have been entered into the system
• Retrieve data as requested from paper or electronic files 
• Update existing data
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

Requirements:

• Minimum three (3) years experience as data entry clerk
• Associate degree or HEART equivalent qualifications/certificate
