Marketing Officer 

We are looking for an optimist with a great attitude to join our marketing department as Marketing Officer - Advertisement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conceptualizing, writing and producing outstanding radio and television advertisements to support the company's various promotional campaigns
• Preparing media schedules monthly for all traditional media and monitor all placements on a weekly basis to ensure optimal exposure and accurate placement of all advertisements
• Making recommendations concerning new advertising and promotional initiatives for the company in an effort to continually improve their impact and effectiveness
• Preparing reports and assisting in the conduct of annual media negotiations
• Identifying advertising opportunities in traditional and new media

Academic Qualifications and Key Competencies include:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
• Project Management Certification
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar marketing role
• Thorough understanding of marketing concepts
• Excellent understanding of market environment and making recommendations
• Must be creative, detail-oriented and efficient with the ability to quickly analyze information
• Ability to identify market/business opportunities and make recommendations
• Superior computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Projects
• Excellent copywriting skills and experience
• String presentation skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
