Junior Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

The core function of this position is to provide administrative and technical support to the Brokering Services Department of the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Five (5) CXC subjects at grades 1, 2, 3 inclusive of English Language and Mathematics or another numerate subject; with a minimum of three (3) years working experience in the General Insurance industry

OR

• A first degree from a tertiary level institution preferably in Business, Finance or Management with at least one (1) working experience in the General Insurance industry

Competencies:

• Able to deliver quality customer service
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Attention to details and accuracy in work
• Basic skills in negotiation
• Working knowledge of insurance brokering business
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Functional knowledge of an insurance application software
• Ability to use basic office systems
• Ability to be trained as a Sales Representative
• Compliance with organization and regulatory policies and procedures
