PRODUCTION WORKER
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Worker's primary objective is to ensure that all products being manufactured are in coordination with quality control standards and production operations procedures and ensure output at an efficient level with a predetermined delivery time to the Sales team.
Main Responsibilities:
To ensure the full manufacturing of products in coordination with quality control standards.
Workers should be prepared to be rotated based on scheduling over 3 shifts covering a 24-hour period.
The employee may be required to push, pull, carry, and/ or lift up to 100 pounds.
SANITATION WORKER
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, the Sanitation Worker’s primary objective is to ensure that the facilities are sanitary and obstacle-free and that the environs are in an aesthetically pleasing condition.
Main Responsibilities:
- To ensure the facilities are sanitary and obstacle-free and that the environs are in an aesthetically pleasing condition.
- Dispose of waste as necessary.
- Clean and maintain interior and exterior infrastructures.
- Clean utensils, equipment, and vehicles.
- Distribution of chemicals and cleaning supplies.
Key Competencies for both roles (Production & Sanitation Worker):
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work in a team.
- Able to follow precise instructions.
- High School Leaving Certificate.
- Two CXC passes.
- Baking, Mixing, and Machine Operating skills (would be an asset)
- Two years’ experience in the food/manufacturing industry.
- Possession of a valid Food Handlers’ Certificate.
- Three shift rotations over a 24-hour period. Saturday and Sunday are mandatory.
- Work involves physical management (push, pull, carry) and operation of equipment and tools.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud when in the production area.
