Qualifications:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or three (3) year teaching diploma
  • Be able to live and work in Japan for at least one (1) year
  • Have the ability to adapt to living and office condition in Japan 
  • Be qualified as a language teacher or be strongly motivated to teach English as a foreign language
  • Have excellent pronunciation, rhythm, intonation and voice projection skills, as well as good oral and written skills

Home Time is seeking a customer-oriented service agent to work in our call centre at our Kingston location.

Position: Customer Service Agent

Location: East Kingston

Job Summary:

To provide information to customers on products and services; respond to customers' queries and assist in resolving service problems in keeping with the established standards of quality in customer care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with information on their account
  • Provide customers with information on products and service, and guide them in acquisition of Products and Services
  • Facilitate the resolution of customers' issues and/or complaints using critical thinking and empathy
  • Any other duties as assigned

 Core Duties

  • Provides potential electors with information and assistance in completing the registration procedure
  • Enters, electronically or manually, registration data of applicants
  • Visits electors' residences for verification purposes
  • Collates and summarizes daily activities for presentation to the manager
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Five (5) CSEC subjects at grades 1, 2 or 3 inclusive of English Language and Mathematics
