Driver 1 (LMO/DR 1) - Kingston, Jamaica - Ministry of Science, Energy and Technology

The Ministry of Science, Energy and Technology (MSET) invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the post of Driver - LMO/DR 1.

Job Purpose
The incumbent is responsible for the transportation of official documents, goods and personnel in a safe manner whilst ensuring that motor vehicles are kept clean and mechanically sound.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• School leaving certificate or completion of Secondary education
• Training in the handling of mechanical parts and their operations
• Five (5) years experience as a Driver
• Valid Jamaican driver's license along with certification of competence from the Directorate of Electrical and Mechanical Services; and 
• Knowledge of basic protocol and social etiquette would be an asset

Remuneration:

Salary: $511,888 - $608,140 per annum
