Junior Clerk (Kingston, May Pen, etc - Jamaica)

Insurance Broker seeks suitable individual for the position of:

Junior Clerk - (Kingston, May Pen, Morant Bay, Ocho Rios, Montego branches)

The successful candidate will be required to participate in the daily operations of the branch and customer service activities in compliance with established policies and procedures. The candidate should possess the following:

• Five (5) CXC/CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English
• Courses in data processing/computer literacy
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in insurance field or similar capacity
• Previous experience with computers
• Must be suitable to be licensed as a sales representative

Skills:

• Sound knowledge of insurance principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Highly motivated and results oriented
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and multitask
