Sous Chef (Goddard Catering Group (Jamaica) - Kingston, JM

Goddard Catering Group (Jamaica) Limited, a subsidiary of Goddard Enterprises is seeking a dynamic and results oriented Sous Chef to be a part of its production team in Kingston.

The Sous Chef will report to the Executive Chef.

Applicants should possess the following:
  • Tertiary level education in Food Services and Institutional Management with relevant training in sanitation and hygiene in the food industry
  • A strong culinary background
  • Supervisory experience with the ability to train and motivate staff
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills
  • Well developed leadership qualities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, public holidays and weekends
  • Holder of a valid food handler's permit 
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in offsite events catering
  • Knowledge of cost control and ability to manage food costs
  • Experience in customer service techniques and a good knowledge of the food service industry
