Accounting Officer (St. Catherine, Jamaica) - Wisynco Foods Limited

Applications are invited for the position of Accounting Officer (Wisynco Foods Limited).

Job Summary

Wisynco Foods Limited, a fast paced, fast growing company which operates quick service restaurants and convenience stores across Jamaica, is seeking to identify a financially astute and commercially driven individual to join the team as an Accountant.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the ideal candidate will manage all financial activities for restaurants and stores in keeping with the organization's policies and procedures. This involves extensive contact with internal and external customers to build relationships that will enable accurate recommendations where necessary to improve efficiency.


Requirements:

• Ability to multi-task and perform within a multi skilled team
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Possesses sound understanding of financial reporting systems and technology
• Ability to execute and deliver quality financial reports
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
• Ability to operate in a fast paced environment and master stressful situations with professionalism and tolerance
• Comprehensive knowledge of Jamaican GCT Act
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
• BSc or BA in Accounting, Finance or other related filed, or ACCA level 1 or above
• At least three (3) years of practical experience in Finance/Accounting
