Accounting Clerks (Kingston, Linstead, etc)

Career opportunities exist in a dynamic Micro-finance institution at the following locations:

• Browns Town
• Kingston 
• Linstead
• Savanna-la-mar 

This is an entry level career position which entails responsibility for preparation of branch accounts, final accounts, trial balances, making entries in primary and secondary accounting books, reconciling bank accounts, preparing reports including monthly branch reports, daily cash reports, commission reports, daily journal reports, payroll reports, deficiency reports, etc. 

Candidate will also be required to assist from time to time with other branch tasks, including debt collection. The Accounting Clerks will possess the minimum qualifications outlined below: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounts or Banking 
• Three (3) years work experience in an office environment 
• Experience in Credit Granting 
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools
• Working knowledge of Financial Management 
• Professional values and attitudes suitable for financial institutions 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
