Backhoe Operator (St. Catherine, Jamaica) - Meadowrest Memorial Gardens

Meadowrest Memorial Gardens (The Gardens) is located in Whittaker Mountain, off the St. John's Road in St. Catherine. The Gardens have been developed on 55 acres of of rolling country-side and magnificent views which serve as a perfect final resting place.

Backhoe Operator 

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager Garden Operations,  the Backhoe Operator is responsible for the operation of the backhoe to prepare areas of the land for construction of vaults and other tasks related to The Garden's operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Three (3) to five (5) years experience in operating backhoes with Jackhammer attached/front loaders, and excavators with jackhammer attached
• Plant Operator's license 
• Working knowledge of how motor vehicle engines, hydraulic pumps and jacks operate 
• Report writing
