Teaching requirements

iTutorGroup welcomes anyone with a passion for teaching to join us! Here are the minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• TESOL/TEFL/TESL certificate (or equivalent)
• At least one year recognized teaching experience
• Commitment of 5 peak hours per week
• Access to a computer with a reliable internet connection
• A computer with Windows or macOS (Desktop and Laptop are acceptable)

How do I sign up ?

Click on "Sign Up" to start the application process. After submitting your application, you will proceed on selecting an interview time. It will only take less than 5 minutes to complete the application. Feel free to select the earliest interview time, we cannot wait to meet you! After the interview, shall you pass the selection, you will be contacted within 24 hours with the onboarding steps.
Who will I be teaching? Do you provide the teaching materials?

Our student base includes professionals from the age of 19-65, and JR clients from the age of 6 to 18. We also attract students wishing to improve their English in hopes of studying overseas or becoming more marketable once they enter the workforce. Most students have studied English during their academic careers, but lack proficient conversational skills. Yes, we provide the materials that you will have access to prior to the sessions.

How is the pay?

The total Session Payment consists of THREE components: Base Pay, Completion Bonus and Contribution Bonus
Teachers are rewarded progressively through achieving higher levels of tenure. As you reach different levels in tenure, you will be locked into a higher guaranteed bonus per session. You will also raise the rate further each month by teaching more sessions.
The more you teach, the more you earn!
How do you pay? Will you assist with my taxation?

We will wire transfer the payment to your bank account. Payday is on the 10th of each month, pay period being the first day of the month to the last day of the month. You are expected to take care of your taxation. Let us know if there's any specific documentation you need for this matter.
