Truck Drivers (Kingston & Montego Bay, JM) - Massy Gas Products (Jamaica) Ltd.

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our contractor transportation team at both the Kingston and Montego Bay locations.

The position requires working on weekends, public holidays and work hours outside of the normal 9 to 5. The successful candidates must be highly safety and customer conscious. Experience with DOT driving regulations will be considered an asset.

The ideal candidates should at minimum be 25 years old and should:

• Practice safe driving habits
• Possess a clean police record
• Be medically fit and able to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs
• Collect payments, document amount and offer receipts where necessary
• Be able to utilise smart device for data collection and dissemination
• Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner 
• Exercise exemplary external and internal customer service
• Have basic knowledge of Jamaican road codes and laws governing transportation of goods commercially

Qualifications and Experience:

The candidate MUST possess the following:

• Three (3) CXCs inclusive of Mathematics and English
• A valid Open General License (articulated inclusive for at least two (2) years
• At least five (5) years trailer driving experience. Driving for the FMCG industry is an asset
• Knowledge of basic LPG procedures will be considered an asset 
• Certifications in Articulated Driving and Defensive Driving are not required but will be highly considered as an asset
