Junior Accountant (Kingston, Jamaica)

A well positioned supermarket in Kingston seeks to fill the position of a Junior Accountant.

Who possesses the ability to:

• Compile and prepare financial information including bank reconciliations and receivables
• Prepare payroll
• Maintain accounting controls
• Ensure the ongoing compliance of the organization with regard to all required financial and other regulations

The applicant is required to possess:

• Relevant qualifications
• Excellent organizational skills
• Solid accounting knowledge and skills including knowledge of Peachtree and Turbo-Pay
• Excellent command of oral and written English 
• Good leadership skills with the ability to relate well to people
