Warehouse Inventory Clerk (Kingston, Jamaica) - Caribbean Chemicals & Agencies Limited

Caribbean Chemicals and Agencies Jamaica Limited is seeking vibrant, enthusiastic and experience Warehouse Inventory Clerk to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment to communicate efficiently and effectively with staff and customer and to ensure the safe delivery and inventory of goods.

Core Functions:

• Ensures that all non-invoice inventory movements are captured on movement journals and the requisite authorized forms attached and filed
• Provides packing lists the logistics team on receipt of export orders and accurately package export orders for shipping as per packing lists supplied
• Processes orders from customers and coordinates the dispatching of goods from the warehouse to the customers in keeping with the company's established procedures and practices
• Monitors the warehouse inventories and makes requests for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging materials to ensure adequate supplies to satisfy customer needs
• Prepares invoices of goods to be delivered to customers
• Ensures that inventory in the warehouse is organized and ready for stock-taking, when necessary
• Manages inventory through monitoring the flow of finished goods in the warehouse, always ensuring proper stock rotation by following the FIFO (First-in-First-out) system
• Participates in the stocktaking exercise
• Observes and maintains strict adherence to established health and safety policies and practices
• Performs cycle counts and ensures the inventory balances in  the enterprise system is updated

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary level qualifications (certificate or diploma) in Warehouse Management or Project Management
• Diploma/Certificate in Supervisory Management
• Certification in Forklift Handling would be an asset
• Results-oriented and ability to work within a team environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in using computer software applications
