Guidance Counsellor, Watchman for Guy's Hill High School (St. Catherine, Jamaica)

 

Academic Staff

Required: Suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacancies:

• Guidance Counsellor (Male)

Specific Knowledge required:

• Knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office Suite 
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Team Leader

Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Sc. Guidance and Counseling
• At least two (2) years experience in the school system

Ancillary Staff

• Watchman

Key Responsibilities:

• Guards and secures premises by monitoring all entrances and fencing
• Routinely inspects the property for any suspicious activities
• Checks all doors in and outside of buildings to be sure they are locked when vacant, locks doors found to be left unlocked
• Makes floor by floor check of all buildings once every two (2) hours during nightly work assignment and logs such patrols
• Notifies supervisor of any situation requiring immediate or prompt attention
• Performs any other duties assigned by Manager
