Electro-Mechanic Technicians
(Best Dressed Chicken Further Processing Facility)
The Best Dressed Chicken Division of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking meticulous and proactive individuals to join their Maintenance Team at their Further Processing Facility, located in Spring Village, St. Catherine. The individuals will provide technical expertise and hands-on support through tasks such as:
- Repairing, troubleshooting and servicing machinery and equipment
- Performing preventive maintenance as outlined in established procedures
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime
As such, the ideal candidates should possess:
- A strong understanding of industrial electrical and mechanical principles, including schematics, troubleshooting methods, and basic diagnostics
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical schematics and Technical drawings
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work on contract
- At least a level 3 certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution or equivalent qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in equipment maintenance preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
