Applications are invited for the position of: MONITORING CENTRE OPERATOR

He/she will provide technical support services for all Information Technology Applications, Systems and computer equipment used in the Monitoring Centre.


The ideal candidate should possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
  • An Associate Degree in an Information Technology related discipline;
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Understanding of Security Systems; to include, but not limited to, camera systems, access control systems and vehicle tracking systems;
  • Sound knowledge of database management systems and procedural based programming languages;
  • Familiarity with networking technologies - Windows networking systems;
  • Sound knowledge of Mobile Computing Technologies;
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP systems would be an asset;
  • Excellent communication and human relation skills;
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a computer related field.
