The Jamaica Broilers Group Limited invites applications to fill the positions of: FOOD TECHNOLOGIST.
The ideal candidate will develop the manufacturing processes to improve existing products, innovate new product concepts and product formulation, ensuring these meet Government and international industrial standards, and should possess:
- MSc. degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related science discipline
- Knowledge of food, testing concepts and techniques
- Knowledge of quality assurance, HACCP programs and related food safety regulations and processes
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of food manufacturing operations and plant sanitation
- Well developed analytical and diagnostic skills
- Experienced with using a variety of food processing equipment
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in the development of New Product Formulation
- A valid food handler's permit
- A valid driver's licence and a reliable motor vehicle
