Laundry Attendant (Kingston, Jamaica) - Time Capsule Express

Brief Description:

We are looking for an attentive Laundry Attendant to support the functions of our establishment and the needs of our customers.

Job Location: 161 Constant Spring Road, Kingston

Starting salary: $54,000 per month

Available shift: Five (5) days per week

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers
• Sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding clothing and other textile items
• Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures
• Performing minor sewing duties as needed
• Keep an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing
• Track maintenance and repairs of laundering equipment
• Ensure that the facility remains clean at all times
• Anticipate and respond to customers' queries, concerns and complaints
• Generate invoices and daily reports

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven work experience as a laundry Attendant or similar role 
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment
• Able to meet physical demands such as lifting at least 50 lbs as well as standing on your feet for up to 8 hours
• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills, excellent analytical and problem solving skills 
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Subjects required Maths and English 
• Ability to multi-task 
• Client focused 
• Organized and reliable
