The Best Dressed Chicken Division of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stores Clerk to join our dynamic team at our Hatchery facility, located in White Marl, St. Catherine. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory items
• Issue stock items based on authorized requisitions
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts
• Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock levels
• Ensure adherence to warehouse safety and organization standards
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality and safety systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets and inventory management software.
• Strong ability to plan, prioritize, manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
